So it’s been two months since my last fight, and I haven’t heard for certain when I will be fighting next. Naturally, I’m chomping at the bit to get back in there, but from a different perspective, I’m really using this time to get better. Like I’ve said previously, I’ve added to my training regimen, rolling, striking, and sparring w/ some of the best guys in the world.
One of the most important things I’ve learned in this game is to surround yourself w/ the best there is. Literally, drive, fly, walk, beg, call, whatever you need to do, but get yourself to where you believe your potential will be maximized. I’ve done just that. Now it’s up to me to do the rest.
I leave for CA tomorrow morning to train for a week at Team Quest. Every time I go out, it’s well worth the trip, so I’m looking forward to going out there.
