My Leadership Team and I spent an evening with Charlie learning about his personal system of learning and discussing books that have been meaningful to each of us. He took a deep interest in understanding my team and our organization and crafted his presentation and time with us to be responsive to our needs. He customized the conversation and the books that he selected to be of interest to us and applicable to our organization and mission.

Youth

I use my personal story to teach a variety of life lessons as they apply to students’ lives. Lessons on perseverance, resilience, adversity, choices and kindness lead the way in a relatable and relevant presentation. Each school has the option of adding a meet & greet that covers all lunches, giving students a chance to interact one on one with The Spaniard. 

Sports

Shining under the bright lights is a skill that I’ve developed over a lifetime of big wins and crushing losses in competitive sports. It’s about preparing for victory and getting back up after defeat, while also being a good person of strong character. I can speak to any aspect of competition, amateur or professional, and help maximize any athlete’s fighting chance.

The students hung on every word of his presentation. He presented multiple books that influenced him and explained to our students the value of being a life-long learner. Charlie made himself available to speak to students individually and take pictures with them. He then walked around to all six of our lunch periods to make sure everyone had a chance to meet him personally. I unequivocally recommend Charlie Brenneman for your next speaking engagement.
