Busy weekend coaching last weekend. We had a few guys qualify for nationals – Go ESU!
Training wise, things are great. Teammate Rafaello Oliveira was just added to the same fight card as me, so he’s a great addition to our training camp. We’re still hitting it hard for another week or two, and then we’ll taper off. I like to specify my workouts a bit more these last few weeks of intense training. I have some things I’ve picked up along the way that’ll help me to peak at the right time – more of some types of training, less of others. There are about 1000 ways to train, or different workouts to do, but the key is mixing and matching them to maximize YOUR potential. Every fighter is different. What works for one might not work for another.
Lift, hard cardio, then wrestling tomorrow!
