Well it’s down to a week until go time. Training has been great. The majority of my training has been over at AMA, but I’ve also had some boxing help from Don Cioffi here in Stroudsburg, as well as wrestling over at Lehigh and w/ recent DII runner up from ESU Shane Mallory, and as always, when I’m home, w/ Dave and Darcy of CMAA. In addition, I’ve been working daily for the last 8 months w/ strength coach Don Messing. He’s been an enormous help, and has added another element to my game. I want to send a thanks to Genesis MMA for allowing me to use their cage; it’s been a huge help. It’s taken alot of help from many different people to get me primed for this fight. I couldn’t do it w/o their help.
I’ve also gotten hooked up w/ Ben Hoffman from In Motion Meals, who has helped improve my diet tenfold. It’s made eating healthy easy, which has been a big help w/ my crazy schedule.
Physically and mentally I am ready to roll. This is a career changing fight, so I’m going to make the most out of it. I’m sure Johny will come ready to fight, and I can guarentee I’ll be ready.
Sponsors are complete, and shorts and banner are being made. A HUGE thanks to: Tokyo Five, my strength coach Don Messing (NoLimitsPersonalTraining.com), Team Wendy, InMotionMeals.com, Flavors.me, Custom Skin Art, Snare and Associates, and Gamma-O.
PS I had a blast last night at VFL’s fights. It’s really cool to have so much local support, so know that it’s very much appreciated. It’s been a long journey getting to where I’m at, and there’s never a guarentee when it comes to fighting, so I’m enjoying every bit of it. I love coming home, and hopefully I’ll be able to get a fight on the east coast in the near future! Thx everyone!
