My quick notes: I love this series, and this book delivers like all the rest. In learning about Harriet Tubman, I learned about justice and injustice, the importance of doing the right thing, about resilience and purpose and so much more. Harriet Tubman escaped slavery and then put herself at risk many times to help others escape. She is a pivotal piece of American history, and her example sets an example for us to follow. I highly recommend this book (and all the others in this series, many of which you can find on my reading list page).
