long days. most of my weekdays consist of substitute teaching (2/3 days a week), coaching wrestling, and training at AMA in jersey. the commute is 50 mins one way. days start at 7 and end round 10 or so. long, but worth it.
since i dont have a definite fight set, i’m taking advantage of training – both technique and fight training. i put a great deal of importance into learning the sport, taking gi classes, no gi, thai technique, etc. i’m new to the sport. i’ve been wrestling for 20 years, but i’m a relative newbie in mma.
mma training with guest ricco rodriguez tomorrow morning. from past experience, it’ll be a tough one.
