My quick notes: This is a really fun choose-your-own-adventure-type book with nine possible endings. It’s a great conversation starter/reinforcer about the importance of choices. One solid takeaway I’ve been using with my kids after reading the book is a little mantra I’ve been repeating: “Good choices, good things. Bad choices, bad things.” Though not a direct quote from the book, it drives home the importance of making good, positive choices, and the effects of both good and bad choices.
